Wake Forest University's baseball program has a rich history dating back to the early 1900s. The Diamond Deacons have enjoyed success at both the conference and national levels, reaching the College World Series (CWS) three times in their history. In recent years, the team has emerged as a consistent contender in the ACC and has made several NCAA Tournament appearances.
Wake Forest plays its home games at David F. Couch Ballpark, a state-of-the-art facility that opened in 1998. The stadium has a capacity of 2,500 and features a turf infield, a video board, and suites.
In addition to the stadium, the team has access to a newly renovated indoor practice facility, weight room, and batting cages.
The Diamond Deacons are led by Head Coach Tom Walter. Walter has been at the helm of the program since 2008 and has led the team to four NCAA Tournament appearances, including the 2017 Super Regionals. He has a record of 512-478 at Wake Forest.
